Crystal Animator

Paper Praxinoscope The praxinoscope was the successor to the zoetrope, and both precursed (darn!) motion pictures. This praxinoscope, marketed as the Crystal Animator", can be assembled in 10 minutes. The finished scope is 4" dia x approx 2-1/2" tall with a 10" long spinner/handle. Spin it and watch the horse appear to gallop in the mirrored core. Comes with (18) pre-printed strips--including the horse, people, pigs and many more--but you can create your own, which is twice the fun, on the reverse sides.
