MGOTM 100+ Manuka Honey is certified to contain at least 100mg/kg of methylglyoxal, the naturally occurring compound responsible for the unique bioactive properties of genuine manuka honey. As methylglyoxal is only found in significant quantities in some manuka honey, testing and certification is important to guarantee methylglyoxal content and activity.
