 There are many imitations, but don’t be fooled. The William Bounds, Ltd. Mushroom Mill is the original designed by Bill Bounds. It all started with a simple concept. Organic design with a modern twist. Friendly to the hand, pleasing to the eye and complementing traditional and modern tables alike. 

 William Bounds’ first mushroom was made using American Walnut with a natural finish. It was a great addition to our wood collection. As time marched on new styles were added replacing the original magic mushrooms. That is until one of our reps, Dennis Chin, was in a store and found an original magic mushroom in a back room. 

 Dennis called Mr. Bounds and asked him to please bring back the original magic mushroom, guaranteeing he would sell every one. Bill went to his workshop and returned the next day with a new mushroom using the original shape, only this time he incorporated our 3-Step Adjustment Ring. Then he designed an all new acrylic version. Today the magic mushroom is a William Bounds icon. 

 As with many of our products, Bill Bounds designed the Mushroom Mill to exacting standards. He created a mill that works as beautifully as it looks. Made from the finest materials. Then as now, the Mushroom is made to last a lifetime, and we stand behind it with a lifetime warranty. If the mechanism ever malfunctions, or you find a manufacturing fault, we will replace it.
