The goal of WeWood is to help restore Mother Nature, one watch at a time, by planting a tree for every WeWood Watch purchased. In just the first three months, WeWood planted 5,000 trees with American Forests, and sets challenging targets for 2012/2013 and beyond. Keeping forests healthy and happy keeps us healthy and happy and we love to keep a constant reminder of that on our wrist. This WeWood watch is made from reclaimed wood from the Red Wing Celtis tree often used throughout the USA for flooring and cladding. At WeWood we are serious about the environment and want to help preserve it and also help it by planting a tree for every watch we sell. All reclaimed wood is treated and a sterilisation treatment is used to make sure the watch is perfect for the most sensitive of skin types.
