This blend comes from the Assam region of India. The geology of Scotland produces mainly soft water that can have a dulling effect on tea. To prevent this, Taylors created Scottish Breakfast, a "thick" and strong cup of tea with a rich malty taste. The flavor works very well with soft water. Best served with milk, an ideal breakfast tea.
