Chocolats Roxy & Rich Sparkle Dust - Gold Pearl (Platinum Gold) (2.5 gram)

This hybrid pearl sparkle dust gives a bright pearlescent finish with very subtle, semi-opaque colour when dry-brushed on gum paste, fondant, or royal icing creations after they have set, or it can be mixed with a small amount of water, clear alcohol (e.g., vodka), or oil-based liquids for painting or highlighting. The sparkle dust may also be mixed into clear piping gel to give it a high sheen or may be used in sugar work. The pearl sparkle dust's colour appears best on a dark background; when used on a light background, it primarily provides a pearlescent finish with only a hint of colour.
Due to the large size of the mica particles in the sparkle dust, this dust can not be used with a standard airbrush. It may only be used in an airbrush with a needle tip of 0.7 mm diameter or greater.

To prepare an edible sparkle paint, combine 1 part gum Arabic with 2 parts hot water; stir and let dissolve for at least one hour. Add sparkle dust as needed.
