The acai berry grows high on the Brazilian acai palm and is similar in size to a blueberry. Acai is cherished and regularly consumed by Amazon tribes in an attempt to boost health and vitality. The key nutrients in acai are omegas and anthocyanin which gives acai it's deep purple colour. Anthocyanin belongs to the parent class of molecules called flavonoids (antioxidants).
These wonderful berries are organically grown, picked, washed, pulped and immediately freeze dried - frozen to preserve all the nutrients, then the water is then removed through dehydration to produce a nutrient rich powder for a great addition to your daily healthy diet.
