Description
Created in 1938 by Herb Bishop as an offshoot of Citrus Club, regional drink from Phoenix, AZ. Knowing the value of advertising, Bishop created Li'l Squirt in 1941 and word of this refreshing drink spread. In 1983, taking advantage of the new low-calorie soft drink technology, Squirt became the first soft drink in the US to use Aspartame.
