The Deuce® #2 - Ice (frosty turquoise blue)

The NEW DEUCE® Ultralight Backpacking Trowel is now available in three sizes - all of them crazy-lightweight! 
 
#1 - .45oz - 6.5"x2.4" - for weight fanatics only who are willing to work with the ins and outs of their gear to get the most out of it (be sure to take a look at the directions graphic in the photo section)
#2 - .60oz - 6.8"x2.5" - the new and improved version of our incredibly popular Deuce of Spades, our original groundbreaking *ahem* backpacking trowel that was the first trowel in the world that could be used upside down for difficult ground (see photo of Advanced Techniques above).
#3 - 1oz - 8"x2.6" - our new full-sized trowel - bigger and stronger, a real beast of a trowel that digs holes easily, fast and comfortably - even in difficult rocky ground. Yet it weighs a fraction of what other full sized trowels weigh.
 
 New Improved Design
 
All new 2018 Deuces® feature four teeth on the leading edge of the blade that are just right for slicing through small roots as you run into them at the bottom of your hole. Yet the teeth aren't so big or so many that they interfere with digging. Note that the teeth are also FIELD MAINTAINABLE - you can resharpen them with a rock. Also new, the handle has small finger undulations to improve friction and grip.

The quality and lifetime guarantee is exactly the same regardless of where your Deuce is manufactured. For those that are interested, a quick glance at the photo or the color name, or the last bullet point once you've clicked on a color, will tell you where that exact model/color you've selected is manufactured.
