The 2017 Field & Sport Pro Knife Sharpener is the portable version of the WE130 plus the 800/1000 diamond handle set. It features a lightweight carrying case and easily clamps to any firm surface with the included C-Clamp. There is a simple, easy to use angle adjustment with 1° increments ranging from 13°-35°, ball joint pivots and micro angle adjustments. The 2017 model has the newly designed Generation 3 Vise for one step clamping. The new vise includes a fully enclosed cam, a tension adjustment lever to control the clamping tension of the vise, and split jaws which make it more effective at clamping distally tapered and fully-flat-ground blades. The Vise is self centering which keeps the angle on both side of the knife symmetrical, and free floating which makes it ideal for clamping fully-flat ground blades. The L brackets have also been redesigned with a different shape of the L-bracket and incorporated a jam-nut locking system which secures the micro adjustment feature.
