4 oz. Amber Glass Bottle with Black Cap

 
The Wheaton Boston-style, round bottle has a Polyvinyl chloride (PVC)-based plastisol interior safety coating, a phenolic screw-on cap with poly-seal liner,  amber-colored glass, and it comes in a variety of capacities such as 4-, 16-, and 32-ounce sizes. The PVC-based plastisol interior safety coating helps to retain contents, in case of breakage. The amber-colored glass body provides ultraviolet (UV) ray protection for light-sensitive samples. The soda-lime glass type conforms to United States Pharmacopoeia (USP) Type III requirements for solvent, chemical, and sample storage, such as some dry powder types, and in dry-heat sterilization applications. These bottles have a narrow neck opening, round body, and rounded shoulders for liquid containment. This type of bottle is used for measurement, quality-testing, sampling, research, and in lab applications in chemistry, education, research, and life science industries.
