There are four basic shapes for all wine bottles: Bordeaux, Burgundy, Rhine, and Champagne. To contain and cool these different shapes up to the neck, Gozzi's research came up with two different coolers, which both demonstrate his very close attention to practical use. The body is different thicknesses: thicker at the bottom and on the edge in order to avoid dents. The handles have been studied (together with the edges, which are fully lined) to ensure a perfect grip with a single hand. The coolers also holds two bottles, its depth means the bottles can be immersed right up to the neck and can be stacked. This cooler is suitable for two Bordeaux or two Burgundy or two Champagne bottles, whicle the taller one (5052/RM) can contain two Rhine-wine bottles or one Magnum.
