The result is subtle and delicious corn flavor in an artisan pasta that cooks to the perfect al dente bite. Orzo ("barley" in Italian) is named for its grain-like shape. It belongs to the pasta category Italians call pastina ("little pasta") and is much beloved for use in soups. Rustichella d'Abruzzo Organic Corn Orzo keeps its shape and texture beautifully. It's-of course-perfect in soups, but also wonderful as a contorno (side dish) with pesto, or in salads.
