Full size bike cover bag, with divider pockets for wheels

This large bag is ideal for traveling with your bike in situations where the carrier doesn't allow 'bikes', since this is considered luggage. Just remove the wheels, drop the frame into the bag upside down, so the seat and handle bars are on the ground. Slide the wheels into the two side divider pockets, so they don't scratch your frame. You can add as much or little additional padding as you desire. Some people I know actually hand their bike to the airline in such a bag, but I wouldn't recommend that. With the proper addition of pipe insulation and some cardboard stiffeners, you can create a fairly safe, soft 'case'. A useful addition would be a chain keeper and chain cover bag, to keep things neat and tidy.
