Emanuel's style of Judaica Art is influenced by ancient Jewish manuscripts and traditional motifs. Bright colors and the fusion of old and new characterize his hand painted artwork which is designed and crafted in his Jerusalem Studio.
The end of Shabbat is marked with the Havdalah service. We pass around and smell a cermonial spice box, called a Hadas. 'Hadas' is the Hebrew word for the myrtle, a lovely aromatic shrub, the branches of which were passed around by the Hebrews' ancestors in their Havdalah rituals. Folklore describes this custom as a remedy Jews used to revive and console themselves after they supposedly lost their 'extra souls' at the end of each Sabbath.
