Originally engineered more than 25 years ago, the Tomorrow’s Kitchen (Formerly Vacu Vin) Pineapple Slicer continues to be one of the most successful products in Vacu Vin's entire assortment. The Pineapple Slicer incorporates 3 separate blades that will peel, core and slice fresh pineapples in just 30 seconds - all via a procedure that is much safer than using a knife. Once the top of the shell has been removed, the device is inserted directly into the pineapple and operates via a corkscrew-based mechanism that enables the creation of perfectly-shaped rings and slices. It was recently revamped to include a unique detachable wedger that allows the user to produce ready-to-eat chunks of pineapple. The gadget also features a quick release button within the handle so that the slices/rings can be easily removed for consumption.
