  • Description

The patented UE Ranger item number 435 is a unique motion assistance device designed to increase ROM and complement the natural movement patterns of the Upper Extremity (UE). Consisting of a molded plastic bilateral hand support and strap, telescoping tube, detachable base, and articulating joints - this tool is ideal for all hand sizes and arm lengths. Also available and sold separately is a wall mount to use in conjunction with the UE Ranger for additional exercises. The UE Ranger allows all phases of rehabilitation to be executed in a functional manner while simultaneously safegaurding the healing structures. In addition to ROM exercises, the UE Ranger can be used to provide limb support while the therapist performs myofascial release techniques (MFR) to affected areas of the shoulder. The UE Ranger provides both the necessary support and progressive challenge capabilities to safely restore full UE function. Patented. Why is the UE Ranger unique? The 'no grip' involved hand support allows maintenance of relaxed proximal musculature in the earliest interventions. This provides the capacity to support patient assisted Passive Range of Motion PAROM. The effortless articulation at the wrist and base allow for frictionless non-binding movement. UE Ranger offers the patient both the necessary support and natural freedom to progressively restore full and healthy biomechanics. Overall completeness and variability with the addition of an add-on wall mount allow fuctional re-integrations using closed chain load bearing motions. The UE Ranger will complement rehab programs addressing: Rotator Cuff Syndrome to Rotator Cuff Repairs, Adhesive Capsulitis, Sports Rehabilitation, Post-Mastectomy, Neurological concerns such as PNF Patterns, Stroke, and Balance. This listing is for item number 435. Wall mount is sold separately.
