The spatula head is molded from flexible and durable silicone that performs just as well for mixing and bowl scraping, as for stirring and turning in a hot pan. The non-abrasive design is safe for all non-stick cookware. The spatula is heat resistant to 500 degrees, will not absorb flavors, is stain resistant and is dishwasher safe. To clean the spatula, simply remove the silicone head and wash it by hand or in the dishwasher. The wood handle wipes clean with a damp cloth. Do not put the handle in the dishwasher.
