Serve up your favorite dishes in one of the many timeless collections from Arthur Court!
This Arthur Court Alligator Pitcher is one of thirty-seven pieces from the Arthur Court Alligator Collection. The stealthy alligator lends the pattern of its distinctive skin to this richly textured line. The curving tail of the alligator creates a textured and unique handle perfectly weighted for the design of the Alligator Pitcher. The top of the pitcher echoes the contrived appearance of an alligator with a daringly wrought spout. Cast aluminum holds a chill perfectly for serving iced beverages. Made from food-safe, sand-cast aluminum, this bowl can be chilled in the refrigerator or freezer and can be heated in the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Boldly polished and non-tarnishing, this piece will hold its stunning shine for years to come. For the best care, hand wash with mild soap and dry immediately; do not leave in standing water for long periods of time. A portion of all sales are donated to the Arthur and Elena Court Nature Watch Conservatory which supports research and education for environmental causes.
Arthur Court served in the Navy during WWII and spent a fair amount of time around the Pacific Rim. Inspired by the exotic nature of what he saw, Arthur opened an interior design company. His reputation grew as he traveled and imported objects from the Pacific Rim until he eventually began casting aluminum serve ware in the late 1970's. He became known for sand-cast aluminum and crafts this cool, lustrous metal into nature-inspired themes that add elegance to dining. Today his daughter Charlene carries on his tradition of designing unique objects for home entertainment and gifts.
