The basket, designed by Pierre Charpin, whose use is so evident, is an essential part of our domestic landscape both in the kitchen and in the sitting room, a presence that reminds us of an ancient, pre-industrial past, bringing back the old "gallery trays" trays from the 18th and 19th century to mind.
