“Biodynamic” refers to an entire farming system that emphasizes the relationship of soil, plants, and animals in one unified system. Biodynamic farmers avoid all synthetic chemicals, pesticides, fertilizers, and transgenic contamination. Instead, they stress farm-generated, living solutions to fertility and pest control in accordance with the belief that the health and well-being of the crops, the farm animals, the farmer, and the Earth are all integral parts that make up the whole.
