The new Ion Cannon racquet for 2012 - 2013 adds 'Power Surge' - making it even more powerful than the previous Ion Cannon model. The balance has been adjusted from slightly head heavy to balanced, so although it is 5g heavier than the previous model, the weight feels the same during a swing. Control and power have been improved and this model is now strung with Ashaway Supernick XL Micro. For intermediate to advanced players.
