This very unique, naturally hull-less 100% certified organic Purple Prairie Barley originated in Tibet. It has 15% protein and a high source of healthful, cholesterol-fighting beta glucans. Sweet in flavor, it's a great whole grain substitute for pearled barley. Many people with wheat allergies find this barley an acceptable substitute.
